Terms of Payment and Return Policy
Galaxy of Stars and Gems (GSG) is committed to providing a clear, secure, and convenient purchasing experience. Please review the following payment, custom-order, cancellation, return, and refund terms before completing your purchase.
Payment Methods
For your convenience and flexibility, we offer several payment options at checkout, subject to availability.
Credit and Debit Cards:
We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
PayPal:
Customers may securely complete eligible purchases through PayPal using an available linked payment method.
Apple Pay and Google Pay:
Apple Pay and Google Pay may be available on supported devices and where offered at checkout.
Buy Now, Pay Later:
Eligible customers may have access to Buy Now, Pay Later options such as Klarna and Afterpay. Approval, payment schedules, eligibility, fees, and financing terms are determined by the individual payment provider.
Available payment methods may vary depending on the customer, device, location, order, and payment provider.
Currency
All prices displayed on our website are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD), unless otherwise stated.
Payment Security
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers and payment gateways.
Galaxy of Stars and Gems does not directly store customers’ complete credit or debit card information.
Payment transactions are subject to the security standards, privacy practices, and terms of the applicable payment provider.
Payment Timing
Standard Orders
Full payment is required at checkout before a standard order is processed.
Custom and Made-to-Order Purchases
Custom and made-to-order purchases require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon order confirmation, unless otherwise stated in the applicable purchase agreement.
The remaining balance must be paid in full before the completed merchandise is shipped or released to the customer.
Specific design details, payment requirements, revisions, production terms, timelines, and other applicable conditions may also be included in the purchase agreement.
Final Payment for Custom Orders
Galaxy of Stars and Gems is not responsible for managing financing, installment plans, or payment agreements established between a customer and a third-party payment provider.
For custom and made-to-order purchases, any remaining balance owed directly to GSG must be paid according to the terms of the applicable purchase agreement.
Failure to make the required final payment may delay shipment or delivery.
Custom merchandise will not be shipped or released until all required payments have been received.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be calculated during checkout based on the order, shipping destination, and applicable tax requirements.
The final tax amount, when required, will be displayed before payment is completed.
Fraud Prevention and Order Verification
For the protection of our customers and our business, Galaxy of Stars and Gems reserves the right to review, hold, cancel, or refuse transactions that appear suspicious or potentially fraudulent.
Additional verification may be requested when necessary.
This may include situations involving payment authorization issues, inconsistent billing or shipping information, flagged payment activity, or other indicators of potentially unauthorized transactions.
Return Policy
15-Day Return Policy
Galaxy of Stars and Gems offers a 15-day return policy on eligible merchandise.
The 15-day return period begins on the date the shipping carrier’s tracking information confirms delivery of your order.
You must request a return within 15 calendar days of confirmed delivery.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the merchandise must:
- Be unused and unworn
- Be in the same condition in which it was received
- Include any original tags
- Be returned in its original packaging
- Include a receipt or other acceptable proof of purchase
Items that do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for a refund.
Non-Returnable Items
Returns are not accepted for:
- Sale or final-sale merchandise
- Gift cards
- Custom jewelry
- Made-to-order jewelry
- Personalized merchandise
Custom and made-to-order merchandise is created or sourced specifically for the customer and is therefore considered final sale.
How to Request a Return

Please include your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for your return request.
If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions and, when applicable, a return shipping label.
Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Damages, Defects, and Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order upon receipt.
If your merchandise arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us promptly at:

We will review the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.
Photographs of the merchandise, packaging, and shipping materials may be requested to assist with our review.
Exchanges
Galaxy of Stars and Gems does not currently offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different item, you may return the eligible original merchandise in accordance with this Return Policy and place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
Once an approved return has been received and inspected, you will be notified of the status of your refund.
If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow approximately 10–15 business days for the refund to appear in your account after it has been processed.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider.
Order Cancellations
Standard Orders
Eligible standard orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided the order has not already entered fulfillment or shipped.
Cancellation requests submitted after 24 hours may be subject to applicable cancellation fees or may no longer be eligible for cancellation.
Custom and Made-to-Order Purchases
Custom and made-to-order purchases cannot be canceled once the applicable purchase agreement has been signed and sourcing, design development, or production has begun.
The required 50% custom-order deposit is non-refundable.
Any additional cancellation terms contained within the signed purchase agreement will also apply.
GSG Private Jewelry Concierge™
Purchases developed through the GSG Private Jewelry Concierge™ may involve curated, sourced, custom, or made-to-order merchandise.
When a Concierge purchase includes custom or made-to-order work, the applicable custom-order payment, cancellation, and return terms described above will apply.
Additional project-specific terms may also be included in the customer’s purchase agreement.
